The Museum is located at 58230 Van Dyke, between 26 Mile Rd. and West Rd. in Washington Township.
Business Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month, January through November, at 11 AM, at the Museum, and are open to the public.
The Museum is open 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the Month from June through November.
The Thorington School is scheduled to be moved from the current location on Mound Road to a new home on 31 Mile Road just one quarter mile away. The building will be be located in a township park to be developed and will be restored. The project of restoration will be accomplished with help of Craig Bryant’s construction class at Romeo High School and other volunteer assistance. A request for assistance was published in a recent township newsletter.
